Dr. Cece Honculada was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and developed a love for sports from an early age. Her interest in healthcare was sparked by an encounter with a podiatrist after she suffered a serious ankle sprain during a college paintball match. Inspired by this experience, she decided to pursue a career in podiatric medicine.

Dr. Honculada attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then moved to Iowa to pursue her medical education at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Dr. Honculada completed a three-year residency program at Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Tucson, Arizona. During this time, she received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage at both VA and civilian facilities, such as Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital and Banner University Medical Center.

After completing her education and training, Dr. Honculada returned to her hometown of Houston, Texas, and now serves the community where she grew up. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing tennis, and pursuing her hobby of graphite drawing. She is also an avid supporter of all major Houston professional sports teams.
